Battle Creek is a stream that begins in southeastern Alberta along the border with Saskatchewan, in the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.
It flows into the Milk River in Montana. Battle Creek and other tributaries of the Milk River in the southern portions of Alberta and Saskatchewan is one of two drainage areas of Canada where the water ultimately flows into the Gulf of Mexico, the other being the Poplar River drainage in Saskatchewan.
Battle Creek flows for 203 km and has a drainage area of 2,600 km².[1]
