Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia was established in 2007 with a $100 million gift from Frank Batten, Sr.[1] The university plans to open the school in the fall of 2009.

The Batten School is the newest school established at the University since the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration was established in 1954. The school will be closely aligned with many of the University's schools, including law, business, medicine, engineering, and education, as well as with key programs such as politics, economics, and applied ethics.
