In 2003, the football team won a state championship while competing in the AAAA division. It was their first ever football state title.

In 2005, the baseball team won the second consecutive AAAA state championship by defeating the Harrison Goblins 5-4 in 9 innings. The MVP was Kelly Davis who came up with the game-tying and game winning RBIs in the later innings. The baseball team has won five state championships since 1990.
