Bateria
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Baterias (Portuguese for "drums") are a form of Brazilian musical group, the percussion band of a Samba School. Outside Brazil, the term "bateria" is also sometimes used loosely to mean any musical ensemble that plays samba. The word "bateria" is also Spanish for "drum set".
Baterias are also used to accompany the Brazilian martial art, Capoeira.
