Batan Island, Albay

There are two Batan islands in the Philippines. The first, is the main island of the province of Batanes where capital Basco is located and the other is in the municipality of Rapu-rapu, in the province of Albay, in the Bicol region.
Batan Island, Albay is located in the Lagonoy Gulf between Cagraray Island and Rapu-rapu Island. The other island on this strip of islands is San Miguel Island.
