Batagarawa

Batagarawa is a village[1] and Local Government Area (LGA) in Katsina State, northern Nigeria.[2] and is populated by the Hausa people. The population of the village was 1,305 in 1967, and it was once the capital of Mallamawa District in Katsina Emirate, North Central State;[1] the population of the LGA, meanwhile, was 84,864 as of 2003.[3] Its geographic coordinates are 12° 54' 0 North and 7° 37' 0 East.[4]
