Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:33, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello
Hi Basketball! I've been receiving some of your newsletters, and I was wondering (since I have a WikiProject) if you can help me get a newsletter started our WikiProject? Let me know if you'll have some time. DiligentTerrier and friends 17:34, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Newsletter delivery
Thanks for your work with our newsletter delivery! I've decided I'll probably do two a month, like an "Early March" and a "Late March." Also, we have a new user - can you drop one by their page? I wouldn't want to ruin your record of being our only official newsletter deliverer. :) DiligentTerrier and friends 20:14, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Got another user. Wouldn't normally bother you (again) but this one specifically requested a newsletter. DiligentTerrier and friends 22:37, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Tempting Offer
That would be neat! Seriously, though, I gained only one member in all those months, and he wasn't much help, getting blocked a whole bunch of times. It takes more than 1 or 2 to make a project.--MrFishGo Fish 23:47, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Before making a Mavericks newsletter, I would wait until more people joined the project. A COFM is pretty usless with like 4 members. And along with it is a newsletter. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 00:13, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Templates Mess: D-FW
Ack! Much help is needed because there is something terribly wrong with the D-FW templates! There's also an issue with the "Articles Needed" page. I tried to add a person and it looks all, well, hinky. Please help or send in the reinforcements. Sorry. It's late! A little mollusk (talk) 03:57, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hello ... This is the reminder about the template issues. It got me in deep with some editors last night because they were not working. If possible, someone needs to check them and POST them in a place EVERYONE can find them. I'm having real issues with finding and posting things on the wikiproject page, sorry to say. I have, for example, a list of article litles ... where do the "articles needed" lists go? Sorry. Color me confused. I am just ...03:19, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
Hans-Paul Schwefel
Hi!
Sorry for this so late reply to you. I was very busy at university.
Professor Hans-Paul Schwefel is fine! I talked to him earlier this year. He'll present a lecture upon bio-inspired optimization based on predator-prey models. See here: http://www.wcci2008.org/ispeakers.htm#Hans-Paul Schwefel
Professor Schwefel's Wikipedia article is still a stub because I have not included others facts about his academic and proffesional life. But I shall do it!
By the way, if you would like to know more on his achievements, please, follow this link:
http://geneticargonaut.blogspot.com/2006/03/evolutionary-computation-classics-vol.html
It's written in an ill-english! Sorry! :)
I promise I shall improve the text in the near future.
Best Regards!

RE: The answer
Thanks for the pie, and the Hitchhiker's Guide reference! :) Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 02:52, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- If it is an IP, usually you are looking for the number of edits that are +1 the most recent warning (for example, if a 4th tier warning is given for edit A and they make edit B, they can be blocked). For registered users as little as one edit can get them indef blocked (for example, if User:Vandalomg's first edit is "I AM GOING TO VANDALIZE WIKIPEDIA"). Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 03:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
-
- I'm not sure if that's actually blockable (having a page like that but not actually vandalizing); some admins may preemptively block the user, though that would be against policy (technically). Definitely something to keep an eye on, however, or even WP:MFD. Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 04:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

- I don't think so; most people nowadays have roughly 15000 edits. I know the highest edit count is 177000 for a non-bot non-admin, I think. Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 04:06, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks for checking that out for me! :) Though I never pay much attention to my edit count. Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 04:14, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- You mean challenging a block? I suppose you can; usually you just contact the blocking admin or post on ANI if you feel the block is uncalled for. Master of Puppets Call me MoP!☺ 21:37, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

I have another newsletter ready for you to deliver! Also, I have renamed the titles of them so I can do two a week, like "Early March 2008" and "Late March 2008". So maybe when you deliver this one, you can change the previous ones to point straight to "Early March 2008" instead of what they are now (March 2008). Thanks!!! Wikiproject Arkansas
Hey, is there any way that you know about that we could get our project members to help out with the collaboration of Arkansas? I've looked at the page history and it hasn't been edited by one of the projects members for at least a month. So is there any way that you could get the members together on this collaboration? Do you think some sort of roll call might help? Thanks in advance! ChetblongTalkSign 08:04, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
