[edit] References to One Flew Over...
Unless someone can give me a compelling reason to keep it, I'm just going to delete the entire section. Paper cups are the standard way to give out medication in all psyche wards. "Throwing something heavy" at a window to escape is common sense, not an homage. Watching a blank TV happens in psyche wards, and didn't actually happen in the movie. I don't cleeary remember if the nurse looked especially like Nurse Ratched . If so, try to incorporate it into the rest the article. Pullarius1 12:58, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
I don't understand why you would take out the section about the movie. I understand your first 2 points, and have no argument with them, but you are wrong about the fact that there was no "blank-tv watching." The people in the psyche ward were all sitting around "watching" the baseball game on the blank tv. Also, the nurse's hair is a clear similarity to Nurse Ratched's hair, besides the fact that it was more red than brown. I can only wait until I get to go to a Green Day concert, because I am going to talk to the band, and get them to affirm that it's a One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest homage. Removed this from the article: "Also approximately forty three to forty six seconds into the recording a sound clip is heard in the background which is relatively similar to that of the "error" sound which is used in the Linux package KDE, more confirmation is needed." If 'more confirmation is needed,' then this can stay on the talk page until that confirmation is found. --64.107.192.18 00:42, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
It's false, the sound is just a bass riff. 24.211.23.77 04:09, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Inuyasha
Can someone please tell me the episodes of Inuyasha that have Basket Case in them? Is that really true?
Yup it is (apparently), or else it may have been a fan online digitally adding it, as I found this online.mikey 23:35, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
No it's not. They were music videos that you mistaked for actual episode clips, LOL.
[edit] Gender Ambiguity
Careful listeners note that Billie Joe's vocals feature an interesting juxtaposition. He "went to a shrink...she says it's lack of sex that's bringing me down," but in the next line, he "went to a whore, he said my life's a bore, so quit my whining 'cause it's bringing her down" This could be clever choice of words conveying the fact that Billie Joe's anxiety has so thoroughly disturbed his mind that he accidentally mixes up their genders.
Are there any articles or interviews addressing this quote? This seems like it might be a reference to transseuxality and/or Armstrong's purported bisexuality. - LeaHazel 13:13, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. I don't think it's easy to confuse gender when having an anxiety attack... at least I never have. It's good that someone removed it.--Jude 06:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Halo
Is the photo listed a real photo from the game menu or is it a spoof? I've never played the game so I'm not sure, but if anyone has any info, could you leave it here? Thanks. --Jude 06:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- nevermind, just found out.

On the title screen, click Multiplayer, and put your mouse pointer over the "Edit Gametypes" option. Look at the specs that are being pointed out on Master Chief's suit.[1]
- For future reference.--Jude 06:25, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] pink masks
is anybody else pretty damn sure that the pink masks they wear in the video are a refernce to the movie "Brazil"? is there any way to confirm this?--uhvpirate 23:10, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chicago
Did anyoe else notice that the beggining of the song sounds exactly like 25 or 6 to 4?
