I don't know how to include this in the basilica article: Bom Dia means hello in Portuguese, so Bom Jesus means 'Hello Jesus!' This should be interpreted in a rather positive light. In spite of its positivity, an Architecture scholar would be better at writing this than me. --McDogm 00:13, 9 May 2005 (UTC)
