I'm not entirely sure what needs to be spelled out clearer... Base Runs models the run-scoring process more accurately than RC. It handles the home run far more appropriately than RC. It maintains its predictive accuracy at extreme conditions, which neither RC nor linear weights do. It is superior to RC in every way except ease of use.
