Statue of Michael Thomas Bass - Wardwick, Derby. Michael Thomas Bass, of the Burton upon Trent brewing family, was a noted philanthropist who funded the building of the nearby library. He served as member of Parliament for Derby between 1847 and 1883 in Derbyshire.
