Description

A photo of the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. This photo features the Romanesque Revival facade, notable for being one of the earliest examples of the style in North America. The building is also noted for its unique colour due to the type of stone used in its construction. See the main article for more details.
