The Bastetani were an ancient Iberian (Pre-Roman) people of the Iberian peninsula (the Roman Hispania). They are believed to be of Iberian language. The territory of the Bastetani was first settled in BC 12th century by Bithynian Thracians of the bistones tribe from Turkey. [1]
