Bassoon Concerto (Weber)

Carl Maria von Weber wrote his Bassoon Concerto in F major, Op. 75, in 1811. Weber revised the concerto in 1822, four years before his death. The work consists of three movements:
- Allegro, ma non troppo
- Adagio
- Rondo: Allegro
A typical performance lasts 18 minutes.

The work is scored for solo bassoon and an orchestra consisting of two flutes, two oboes, two bassoons, two horns, two trumpets, two trombones, timpani, and strings.
