Bassianus (senator)

Bassianus was the Roman husband of Anastasia, daughter of Flavia Maximiana Theodora. He was destined for the rank of Caesar of Italy.

While negotiations were pending with Licinius respecting the ratification of this arrangement, it was discovered that Licinius and Bassianus had been plotting against Constantine I. Constantine subsequently executed Bassianus.
