Bassem Feghali

Bassem Feghali is a Lebanese comedian and drag queen born on September 21. Related to the legendary singer Sabah (Janet Feghali), he started his comedy career by impersonating her.

He then went on to impersonating many Lebanese and World celebrities such as Nawal Al Zoughbi, Haifa Wehbe, Fairouz, Shakira, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears, Marwa, Nancy Ajram, Elissa and Mariam Nour, historical figures such as Ivette Sursok, Maggi Farah and Miss Lebanon pageant contestants, such as Lamita Franjieh.

Bassem Feghali is known for his ability to imitate the voices of personalities he impersonates without lip synching.

Bassem graduated from "Studio el Fan" 1996 with a Gold Medal [1] and was a laureate of the MUREX D’OR awards in 2000 [2] as Best Monologist of the Year. He performed at the Anjar International Festival 2004 [3].

Bassem's TV appearances have been compiled to a 5 volume VHS and DVD.

During the month of Ramadan, Bassem had a daily show on LBC. The show is called Alf Wayle Bi layle. He imitates a different arabian artist each day. Some people he imitated were Sabah, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Fifi Abdo, Assala, Majida El Roumi, etc. Many people are surprised when they see his very thin body. When imitating female singers he has to diet and exersice his voice so he would impersonate well the idols.
