Basketball Manitoba

Basketball Manitoba is the Provincial Sport Governing body for basketball in the province of Manitoba, Canada. It was incorporated on October 23, 1976 and is responsible for the promotion and development of basketball in Manitoba. The body is managed by a board of ten directors elected by its members, and is tasked with ensuring that all Manitobans have access to the programs run by the association and that the game of basketball is enjoyed by as many people possible.
Basketball Manitoba members include the Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association (WMBA), Manitoba Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA), the Manitoba Association of Basketball Officials (MABO), the Labatt Super Men's Basketball League and the Winnipeg Senior Women's Basketball League (WSWBL). Players, coaches and referees are registered through their respective associations.
