Basket Draghi Novara
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Basket Draghi Novara, also known for sponsorship reasons as Ignis Novara is an Italian professional basketball team from the town of Novara.[1]
In 2007/08 season it will play in the Italian LegADue (also known as Serie A2, second division of Italian professional basketball).
It has been formed in 2007 when two LegADue teams, Ignis Castelletto Ticino and Aironi Novara have merged into one new team.
Aironi Basket Novara was established in 1972 and, in the past, due to sponsorship deals, has also been known as Cimberio Borgomanero (2001-02) [2], Cimberio Valve Novara (2002-03) [3] and Cimberio Novara (2003-07). [4][5][6][7] Their best result was 4th place in LegADue in the 2001/02 season.
Ignis Castelletto Ticino was established in 1991. Their best result was 14th place in LegADue in the 2005/06 season.
