Basil van Rooyen (b. April 19, 1939 in Johannesburg) is a former racing driver from South Africa. He participated in two Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on January 1, 1968. He retired from both, scoring no championship points.
Van Rooyen later raced in saloons and Formula Atlantic.
