Basil the Physician

Basil the Physician († 1118) was the Bogomil leader condemned as heretic by Patriarch Nicholas III of Constantinople and burned at the stake by Byzantine Emperor Alexius I Comnenus. Basil had tried to convert Alexius to Bogomilism.
