Bashohli is a town and a notified area committee in Kathua district in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bashohli had a population of 5865. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bashohli has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 57% of the males and 43% of females literate. 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
