Baseball City Stadium
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Baseball City Stadium was a stadium in Davenport, Florida. It was primarily used for baseball and was the spring training home of Kansas City Royals prior to moving to Surprise Stadium in 2003. The ballpark had a capacity of 8,000 people and opened in 1987. It was torn down in 2005 to make way for the new Posner Park development now going up on the old Boardwalk and Baseball property of which this stadium was a part.
