Basappa Veerappa Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET) is located in Hubli, Karnataka, India.
Established in 1947, B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET) has achieved an enviable status due to a strong emphasis on academic and technical excellence. Currently the College offers 11 UG and 5 PG courses affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, and is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi.
Spread over a luxurious 50 acres, the picturesque campus comprises various buildings with striking architecture. Situated on the Pune - Bangalore highway in the city of Hubli, the College is well-connected by road and rail to every major city in the country. From a modest beginning when the college offered only an Undergraduate course in Civil Engineering, BVBCET has indeed come a long way. A constant endeavour to keep abreast with technology has resulted in excellent state-of-the-art infrastructure that supplements every engineering discipline. The faculty consists of extremely qualified and dedicated academicians whose commitment to students has resulted in a number of accolades. During the year 2000 – 2001, the students of the College bagged 20 ranks in the Karnataka University Examinations. In the same year, the PG students secured 17 ranks in the Visvesvaraya Technological University Examinations. The College was adjudged ‘Best College of the year’ by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, Bangalore, in the year 2002. The spirit and ethos of BVBCET are reflected in the Vision, Mission and Values that have become the foundation of a multitude of successful careers.
It is the best college in North Karnataka. I think no college can match its standard in that region. The facilities and the infrastructure of the college is absolutely great.
