Basak Pardo is a community in the Philippines, and smallest local government unit in the country. It is located in the south district of Cebu City, about five kilometers from Cebu City Hall. Basak Pardo's government, or "sitio", consists of several official sub-communities. This community implemented the electronic governance for the seek of transparency and integrity using technology. www.barangay.net.ph/basak-pardo. Real property tax is implemented outside city hall by internet connectivity. Virtual private network (VPN) is being use for security. With this application the constituents will no longer pay to city hall however to the community hall.
