[edit] Welcome!
Hello, BarkerJr, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am CTSWyneken. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk or ask me on my talk page.
- Sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~).
- Provide an Edit summary
- Take a look at Consensus of standards. It is always wise to read the talk page of an existing article before making major changes on it. Even then, I typically ask if anyone minds that I make a change. Very often they do! ;-)
- Create a User page
Again, welcome! And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. --CTSWyneken 01:05, 6 May 2006 (UTC)(talk)
Thanks! This is fun! BarkerJr 22:29, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Remember to sign your posts
I recently noticed that you added several vandalism warnings to a talk page, but you didn't sign your comments. Not everyone checks the history, so for the sake of simplicity, be sure to sign your name using ~~~~. Mr. Lefty Talk to me! 00:04, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. Until a few days ago, I didn't realize how to insert a signature :) --BarkerJr 01:38, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tagging attack pages
Before you quicky tag a page with {{db-attack}}, please check through the history of a page [1] to see if there is a version before that to revert to. Thanks! DGX 03:28, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I do look through the history, but the first version said that it'd been deleted, so I assumed that it should be deleted again. I guess there are multiple levels of deletion, including permanently deleted but not actually deleted. --BarkerJr 10:47, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please place warnings on user talk pages
Thanks for desiring to clean up Wikipedia. I do ask, however, that you place warnings on user talk pages, rather than userpages, as you did with User:W1th0ut@50ul. Thanks, and happy editing. --Zpb52 15:34, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I don't recall placing it on the user page, but if you say I did, I guess it's true. --BarkerJr 15:36, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Climateprediction.net
Hi. Thanks for your work on the CPDN related pages. crandles 13:17, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- No problem at all. I love that project! --BarkerJr 23:59, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
