Barry R. Clarke writes the Mind Gym puzzle column for The Daily Telegraph (UK) and is a published author with Dover, Cambridge University Press, and Mensa. In 2004, his HAIL CLIP puzzle was featured on BBC4 TV. He is a man of varied talents: with his book The Shakespeare Puzzle, he is an expert on the Baconian-Shakespeare authorship theory; his comedy sketches have been broadcast on BBC and ITV; and his short film The Bath In The Garden was voted one of the Top 20 British amateur short films of 1999. He has a M.Sc. degree in quantum mechanics with published papers and is currently working on a non-probabilistic theory of the hydrogen atom. As if this were not enough, he is an accomplished guitarist, cartoonist, and can juggle 3 balls! Website is here: barryispuzzled.com

The Shakespeare Puzzle: A Non-esoteric Baconian Theory "Original and much enjoyed it. The first part is an excellent summary of the state of the controversy. Bacon is indeed the outstanding candidate." - John Michell, author Who Wrote Shakespeare?
