What makes this an attack article? I have documented with two sources the allegations and have to the best of my ability expressed the facts based on those two sources. Bart is a former player at the top level of amateur play in a sport, which indicates he passes muster for notability per WP:BIO if there are appropriate sources. I hope to improve the article as I find sources, but I felt I had plenty to support creation of this article with what is there now. Erechtheus (talk) 18:14, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

None of your sources address his football career. Beach drifter (talk) 18:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

The sources in place at the time of your comment established he was a member of the football team. I have since added sources that establish he was named to the all-conference team and was a two time letterman.Erechtheus (talk) 18:56, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
I still don't understand how this is encyclopedic content. Having a relationship with a famous person is specifically addressed in WP:BIO section 2.2 as invalid criteria. Do you propose that every college all conference player is significant enough for an article? Beach drifter (talk) 19:01, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
I agree that just being the brother of Zach Thomas is not enough. Zach has a sister who I won't be writing an article about even though she is also married to Jason Taylor. In fact, I think she may have been a college athlete in her own right. If so, I might have to take that back. I think WP:BIO makes the standard clear. Play at the top amateur level in a team sport such as football is indeed enough, so long as there are appropriate sources to back that up. Erechtheus (talk) 19:04, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
