"The Chinese symbol for barry is a rat."?? And some random babblings about road numbers and chicken and egg situations. Is this vandalism or am I missing something? I'm new to Wikipedia so didn't like to just delete this stuff. I'll revert to the previous version once I figure out how! Dave Beta 20:33, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Have changed around the order for editing purposes - was some what higgledy-piggldy before, with history/comments/modern etc mixed --Trident13 10:33, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Sorry that i'm anon, but replaced some vandalism to 'The Arts' section.

[edit] Map

You might consider adapting this map for your use on this page. The current map is so small, the red dot could easily mark Cardiff. --Pat 22:09, 6 July 2007 (UTC) Image:Bristol channel detailed map.png

[edit] Justification for altering geotags

There are three geotags at the start of this article, which had pointed to separate locations. All of these pinpointed apparently random houses, which I didn't think was particularly helpful (except maybe to the residents if they were lost!), and certainly not self-consistent. The one in the lead paragraph seemed to come from Google Earth's marker for the town, while the OS grid reference matched that returned from their in-site search engine. Although the coordinates might seem to be given some legitimacy by these sources, they're still not particularly indicative of the town.

I decided to mark out the points furthest north, E, S, and W on a map and then calculate the town centre. Remarkably, this actually coincided with the main square in the 'town centre', so by geography and community, I believe this point (51°24'23.00"N 3°16'0.00"W) to be the most appropriate to use, and have changed all three to reflect this. - ObfuscatePenguin 12:03, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
