Talk:Barriers to employment for international students

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think this paper has potential and should not be deleted, but it has a couple of problems in its present form. One is that it seems to assume a Canadian context, even though only a minority of Wikipedia readers are Canadian. So the references to things Canadian, etc. need to be reframed as examples of something broader, and/or the Canadianisms need to be removed or at least toned down.

It would also help to indicate (briefly) at the beginning why international students should be supported, why international exchange is a good thing, etc. Personally I cannot imagine any counterarguments needed about the value of cross-cultural exchange, so I don't see a real issue about establishing a NPOV.

There may be links possible as well to issues about immigration, multiculturalism, etc. that are possible and appropriate--I have not investigated that yet.
