[edit] Name

The "Barloworld" page should be renamed "Team Barloworld", as Barloworld is the company which sponsors the cycling team. Interweave 05:19, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

The official name of the team is Barloworld so, if it were to be renamed anything, I'd prefer Barloworld (cycling team). As it is, disambiguation is unnecessary as no article on the company exists. If one did, then Barloworld would be a disambiguation page pointing to the company and cycling team. Until there is an article on the company, this is just hypothetical. Reaching a page about a cycling team when you look up a large company is very confusing. Barloworld (cycling team) is probably the best proposal, the current situation is very confusing. Note that the cycling team's site is located at http://www.teambarloworld.com/ . 198.54.202.102 (talk) 21:22, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
But there's still no page on the company, so Barloworld would redirect to Barloworld (cycling team) (or as I now think is better Barloworld cycling team) anyway. SeveroTC 21:41, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Barloworld's most prominent rider is South African Robert Hunter."

Really? Mauricio Soler has the KOM for this year's Tour clinched, won a stage just as Hunter had, and got a combativity award along with lots of media coverage. I'd say it's a push, perhaps even favoring Soler. Is there some other justification for saying Hunter is the most prominent? Nosleep1234 09:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

No arguments here, probably just old text from the start of the year when nobody had really heard of Soler. Félix Cárdenas has also won a stage in the Tour before, but he's hasn't achieved so much of late. SeveroTC 12:52, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
