[edit] Barcelonnette

Barcelonnette doesn't mean little Barcelona since it is trhe French pronunciation of Barcelonita in the Occitan dialect. French language diminutive suffix would had been "Barcelonette" with a single "n" not a double. "ita" was turned french as "ette". in spanish "ita" is the same as "ette". Shame On You 09:24, 9 November 2006 (UTC) Barcelonnette ,és el diminutiu de Barcelona.L'Occità és una llengua,no pas un dialecte.caldria que sabéssiu que el català(una altra llengua)no fa els diminutius com el castellà (una altra llengua)en -ITA ,sinó en -ETA.Per això és del tot versemblant si la fundació de la ciutat fou obra de Ramon Berenguer IV compte de Barcelona i compte de la Provença. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.210.64.189 (talk) 19:00, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
