[edit] Birth year?
The year of birth at IMDb is 1932. The revision changing this to 1941 was made 01:40, 2004 Oct 2 by 64.136.49.227. I have seen references to birth dates in 1932, 1939, and 1941. Does anyone have an authoritative source for the actual birthdate? 1941 makes the most sense, if she went to CMU at a typical time, and graduated in her early 20s. --Mark McCartney (talk) 18:27, 2005 Jun 15 (UTC)
- According to IMDB, one of her first television appearances was on The $64,000 Question in 1957, and if she had been born in 1941, that would have made her about 16-17 years old. We know she attended Carnegie Tech, a college offering four-year degrees. Unless she was a prodigy, she would have still been in high school at age 17. If born in 1932, she would have been 26, a bit old for a typical college student and someone breaking into modeling and show business. That leaves us with 1939, making her about 18-19 when she appeared on the game show and competed on the topic of Shakespeare. She would have been a freshman or sophomore in college then. According to Hal Erickson in All Movie Guide, "While studying drama at Carnegie Tech, she became an expert in Shakespeare ..." In television shows from the 1960s she looks 20-something, not 30-something. I think most Internet references putting her birth year at 1932 or 1941 have it wrong. 1939 seems to be the most likely year. The fact that there's so much uncertainty about her birthdate seems to indicate that she's cagey about revealing her age. —QuicksilverT @ 15:31, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Birth Place?
There seems to be some conflicting sources regarding her place of birth. Some claim that she was born in Butler, PA while others claim it was Bethel Park, PA. There doesn't seem to be an authoritative source to confirm either.
[edit] Resemblance?
I'm puzzled by the statement "[Feldon] had a wonderful on- and off-screen resemblance with Adams". I'd like to change it, but I don't know what to change it to. Pavium 12:57, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
