[edit] Gay Icon Project
In my effort to merge the now-deleted list from the article Gay icon to the Gay icons category, I have added this page to the category. I engaged in this effort as a "human script", adding everyone from the list to the category, bypassing the fact-checking stage. That is what I am relying on you to do. Please check the article Gay icon and make a judgment as to whether this person or group fits the category. By distributing this task from the regular editors of one article to the regular editors of several articles, I believe that the task of fact-checking this information can be expedited. Thank you very much. Philwelch 20:25, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Archie Fisher
Archie Fisher gave Barbara her first recording break, so it seems perverse to write him out of the picture. I have restored him to the Barbara Dickson story. Ogg 13:57, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
I have removed the reference to "Dolly Town" - I can find no evidence for this. Ogg (talk) 05:57, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Full Circle
"Full Circle" was poorly reviewed, not well received. It is heavily influenced by classical music, and is remote from her pop hits. See http://www.folking.com/reviews/reviews/532.shtml Ogg (talk) 06:02, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Once again someone had tried to present "Full Circle" as a success. I loved it, but it had exceptionally poor sales. It is far removed from her popular ballad style. "Mixed reception" is a diplomatic way of expressing it. Ogg (talk) 12:03, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
