Barville, Eure

Barville is a village and commune in the Eure département of northern France. The family of de Livet de Barville, the marquis of Barville, later married into the family of de Thumery of Boissise-le-Roi.[1] Other members of the de Livet family included Guillaume de Livet, who acted as one of the judges at the trial of Joan of Arc, and Jean de Livet, standard bearer to King Philip Augustus II of France in 1220.
