Bartuva (Bārta in Latvia) is a river in western Lithuania and Latvia. It begins in Plungė district, 3 km to north of Lake Plateliai. Bartuva flows in northwestern direction, passing Skuodas district and Skuodas city, before entering the Latvian territory. Bartuva flows into Liepāja lake, which is connected with the Baltic Sea. In the upper courses Bartuva's valley is deep and narrow, while in lower courses it becomes much wider.
Bartuva's main tributaries are Eiškūnas, Erla, Luoba, Apšė, Vartaga.
