Bartlett High School, or BHS, is a public four-year high school located in Bartlett, Illinois, a north-west suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Elgin Area School District U46, which also includes Elgin High School, Larkin High School, South Elgin High School, and Streamwood High School.

Bartlett High School opened its doors in August 1997 as the fourth high school in Elgin Area School District U46.

In 2006, Bartlett had an average composite ACT score of 20.9, and graduated 93.1% of its senior class. The average class size is 22.4. Bartlett High is also home to the Academy of Science, Engineering, and High Technology, an advanced curriculum that students, with special interest in Science, Math, and/or Engineering apply to. Bartlett has not made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievements Examination, a state test.[1]

As of 2006, the student body was 72.2% White, 4.0% Black, 12.6% Hispanic, 11.1% Asian, and 0.1% Multi-Racial/Ethnic. 11.6% of the student body is listed as low income. The average teacher salary is $59,675, and the average years of teacher experience is 13.5.[2]

Bartlett competes in the Upstate Eight Conference. Its mascot is the Hawk. The Bartlett Hawk Football Program has made it to the IHSA State Playoffs eight years in a row. The Football teams are as follows: Varsity, JV, Sophomore A&B, and Freshman A&B.
Bartlett Boys Basketball set a school record in wins during the 2007-2008 season and advanced the the sectional finals for the 2nd time in its short history. Varsity Coach Jim Wolfsmith was also announced as the IBCA (Illinois Basketball Coaches Association) district coach of the year in his first year as the head of the basketball program.
