Bartleby Clown College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bartleby Clown College was a short-lived facility for the training of clowns and other circus performers, not unlike the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, which it preceded by over a decade. It was founded in Jonesboro, Arkansas, in 1952 due to the town's extensive railroad connections. However, it received little support and was forced to close its doors in 1959.
