Bart Thomas is a former safety for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He is the brother of Dallas Cowboys linebacker Zach Thomas. During 1994, the Thomas brothers became the first brothers to be named to the first team All Southwest Conference. Thomas was a football letterman in 1992 and 1994.
When he was a coach at Slaton Junior High in Lubbock County, Texas, he resigned after being accused of fondling a 14-year old female student. Charges were brought against Thomas but an agreement was reached to drop them provided he met certain conditions.[1]
Thomas currently runs Club 54, a health club in Amarillo, owned by his brother, Zach.
