Barry Richards, b. 1957, was a 2006 candidate for governor of Nebraska on the Nebraska Party ticket receiving 8,894 votes for 1.5% of the vote. He ran for that office as a Republican in 1998. He lives in Hayes Center with his wife, Marian.
