Barry Palmer, born 1958 in England, is a British singer who was one of Mike Oldfield's vocalists around 1984.

Barry Palmer's music career began in 1976, when he became a lead vocalist of the German rock band Triumvirat, with which he recorded three albums.

In 1983, Mike Oldfield heard one of the Triumvirat albums and was interested in the voice of the lead vocalist. He invited Barry to join the Crises tour, which Barry Palmer refused because he was busy working on his solo album.

Later, Oldfield contacted Barry Palmer again and asked him to sing on the song Crime of Passion. After that Barry Palmer was invited to record four songs for the album Discovery.

Barry recorded three more songs for Mike Oldfield:

After that, Barry Palmer focused on his solo career, releasing the album Without An Aim in 1984 and a single God Bless The Children. He has released another single (Dear John) in 2001.
