The peace pole is a major element of the Barry Goldwater Campus. Located outside of the Lecture Hall in a planter, the peace pole stands tall, boasting phrases of peace in multiple languages. In 2005, the peace pole was vandalized, but was repaired within a few weeks. The area around the peace pole has come to be a place of congregation for many students in between classes, during lunch, and before and after school.
