Barry Clancy (born April 20, 1985) plays with Kildare County FC in the Eircom League First Division. Clancy joined Kildare County at the start of the 2006 season from Shelbourne FC. Clancy never featured for the Shelbourne first team but was a regular in the Under-21 side.
The small statured defender makes up for his lack of height through his never ending industry on the pitch. Starting his County career as full back Clancy was an instant hit at Station Road. He is now often used as a left winger. Clancy signed a new contract at the end of the 2007 season keeping him at Kildare County for the 2008 season.
