[edit] Cut Tracks
The following songs never made the cut to Barrio Fino En Directo. These songs exist for they have been featured in films, television, albums, or can be found circulating the internet in sites such as YouTube. They are as follow:
1 "Mamacita" ft. Pharrell.
This song was meant to appear on "En Directo" but was moved towards Pharrell's In My Mind (Pharrell album), but due to its early leak it didn't appear on the album either. Both Daddy Yankee and Pharrell sang the song live in the 2006 Billboard Awards which can be viewed here [2]. The studio song can be heard here [[3]]. The song appeared on the film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
2 "Oh Man" ft. Sean Paul.
The song was originally going to appear in Sean Paul's The Trinity but it was moved to "En Directo" which didn't make the cut as well. The song can be heard here [4]. The song was produced by Luny Tunes.
3 "Tempted To Touch (Remix)" ft. Rupee.
This track was leaked after the release of Daddy Yankee's album Barrio Fino. Daddy Yankee later said in an interview the song was to be released in "En Directo" but it never made the cut. The song can be heard here [5]
4 "Somo Así Underground" ft. Hector "El Father".
This song was originally meant to be in "En Directo" but it never made the cut. It was later meant to be released in Hector El Father's The Bad Boy Album, but it never made the cut as well. Although part of the song was used for a similar song called "Boom Bye Bye" without Daddy Yankee. The song can be heard here[6]
5 "Mírame/Burn It Up" ft. Deevani, R. Kelly, Tego Calderón, and Wisin & Yandel.
This song was going to mix Daddy Yankee's song "Mírame" ft. Deevani which appeared in Luny Tunes's Mas Flow 2 album and the song "Burn It Up" ft. Wisin y Yandel which appeared in R. Kelly's TP-3: Reloaded album. Tego Calderón was going to replace R. Kelly's verses. The song leaked earlier than expected and many fans praised its creativity. But because of it, it never made it to "En Directo". A demo of what would've been the song can be heard here [7]
6 "Machete (Remix)" ft. Lil Jon.
According to one interview which Daddy Yankee gave before the release of "En Directo", Lil Jon was originally going to be part of Machete Remix. For unknown reasons, the remix was given to Paul Wall. The interview can be seen here [8]
7 "Like You (Remix)" ft. Diddy.
Daddy Yankee admitted in an interview that Diddy was going to collaborate with him in a remix of the song "Like You" which appeared in Barrio Fino. For unknown reasons, the remix was never made. The interview can be seen here [9]
