Barr Trail is a popular 12.6 mile trail that climbs 7300 feet from Manitou Springs, Colorado, USA to the top of Pikes Peak. The trail is rated more difficult because of its long sustained grade rising to an especially high elevation.[1] Halfway up the trail is Barr Camp, two acres with a cabin, benches, and picnic table that provides both overnight accommodations and food and drink for purchase.

Barr Trail was designed and built by Fred Barr from 1914 to 1921. Barr Camp was built between 1921 and 1924. [2]

Annual races that use the trail include the Pikes Peak Marathon which goes to the summit and back; and the Barr Trail Mountain Race which is to Barr Camp and back.
