Baron Ranksborough

Baron Ranksborough, of Ranksborough in the County of Rutland, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 2 July 1914 for the soldier, courtier and Liberal politician, Major-General John Brocklehurst. He was the grandson of John Brocklehurst, a silk weaver and Member of Parliament for Macclesfield, and the nephew of William Coare Brocklehurst, also Member of Parliament for Macclesfield, and Sir Philip Lancaster Brocklehurst, 1st Baronet, of Swythamley Park.

Lord Ranksborough was childless and the title became extinct on his death on 18 February 1921.

The seat of Lord Ranksborough was Ranksborough Hall at Langham, Rutland.
