Baron Pender, of Porthcurnow in the County of Cornwall, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1937 for John Denison-Pender, a former Conservative Member of Parliament for Newmarket and Balham and Tooting. He was the grandson of the businessman Sir John Pender, founder of a number of telegraph companies which later became part of Cable & Wireless. As of 2007 the title is held by the first Baron's grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his father in 1965.
Porthcurnow (or Porthcurno) in Cornwall was the landing site of several international telecommunication cables.
Sir James Pender, 1st Baronet, was the uncle of the first Baron Pender.
