Baron Kirkley

Baron Kirkley, of Kirkley in the County of Northumberland, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 21 January 1930 for the businessman William Noble. He was a partner in Cairn, Noble and Company, shipowners, and Chairman of the Cairn Line of Steamships. Noble had already been created a Baronet, of of West Denton Hall in the County of Northumberland, in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 24 June 1921. He died without surviving male issue on 11 September 1935, when the titles became extinct.
