Baron Isidore Justin Séverin Taylor

Baron Isidore Justin Séverin Taylor (1789 - 1879) was a royal commissioner of the Théâtre-Français. He was responsible for editing Voyages pittoresques et romantiques dans l'ancienne France, a celebrated collection of lithographed drawings and paintings.
He was also heavily involved in getting Alexandre Dumas, père's early plays on stage, including Christine and Henri III et sa cour (Henry III and his Court), the latter of which Dumas dedicated to him.
He was buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
