Baron Darwen, of Heys-in-Bowland in the West Riding of the County of York, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1946 for John Percival Davies, a prominent cotton manufacturer. He served as a Lord-in-Waiting (government whip in the House of Lords) from 1949 to 1950 in the Labour administration of Clement Attlee. As of 2007 the title is held by his grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his father in 1988.
