Baron Ashton

Baron Ashton, of Ashton in the County of Lancaster, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1895 for the businessman and politician James Williamson, who had previously represented Lancaster in the House of Commons as a Liberal. The title became extinct upon his death in 1930.
